Been a few months since WIP Wednesday graced the Ole Blog, but it's back! Some great hobby progress this week as I am trying to get my Sisters of Battle ready for battle...

 

 

BOGO! WIP Wednesday and Dust Warfare thoughts!

Ok, I have been neglecting my blog a bit lately. On a good note, I have not been neglecting my hobby. I have been playing alot of games recently. So on to this BOGO of articles!

WIP Wednesday; Adepticon Blues, MageCon painting!

Well I missed getting this up on Wednesday. I was too busy trying to finish my command squad and get them ready for MageCon this weekend. I am glad I can say mission accomplished! It's been a while since I have completed a unit or vehicle and I'm pretty happy with this one. Unfortunately it has lead to me having some free time today to see all the pictures of Adepticon rolling in.......

WIP Wednesday; Yes there was painting!

Ok Wednesday is here and I have beaten the painting blues! I only have a couple minutes to write this up as I'm working on SOB and need to make significant progress before May 11th. May 11th is the deadline for army lists for the Bugeater GT and when I have to decide if I can finish the Sisters of Battle of go to backup plan B and play my Crimson Fists.

Ok this week was kind of slow for hobby progress. Blake and I drove out to Vermillion on friday to play Zach in a cities of death game, and I spent this weekend enjoying the nice weather with the kiddos and wifie. I did go see Hunger Games on Sunday too. So on to what I did do.....

WIP Monday? Project SoB Rebirth!

Ok I apologize for it being pretty quite around here this week. Model wise, it has been pretty busy! This week I kicked into high gear my Sisters of Battle repaint. I also started a terrain project to use on my new board. So on to the pictures of what I have been up too!

WIP Wednesday; Bases and Sargents

This week saw me getting some good work done on my Crimson Fists for Con of the North. With less than 2 weeks before we head to the great white north of Saint Paul, MN, The list is shrinking what remains to be painted......

WIP Wednesday: Crimson Fist Paintathon!

WIP Wednesday is back! The holidays and a store remodel at work killed my free time and a fried computer didn't help either. This week I made great progress towards my Con of the North Crimson fists list. I'm also soaking 14ish sisters of battle in simple green.

So onward to the WIP pictures and a review of this week...

The Holidays are over!

The Holidays are finally over. My life can get back into the regular routine. That means more hobby time!! And it starts today! Also WIP Wednesday will be back on.....................Wednesday with today's hobby progress too. On the bench today is a new Vulcan list for Con of the North in February. I'm also starting project "Girls Gone Wild". This is my stripping, um and repainting of my Sister's of Battle army for the 2012 Bugeater GT!

Later this week I will post up my thoughts and list for Vulcan and scouts. Happy New Year everyone! This should be a very good year for the Hobby with 6th edition coming and several new codexes.

Legion Games rtt army. 2000 points



So my list is made and the army is all painted for a 2000 point rtt up in Minneapolis this Saturday. I'm trying something new and this will be my first list with-out Pedro.

Saturday Hobby Progress

Here are some quick shots of my hobby progress I got done today.

I have to say I love the vindicator kit. It was very fun to assemble and the "fit" was very good. Hopefully we get some good warm weather so I can do alot of priming to stock pile for the winter.



WIP Wednesday; Stealth Thursday post

Ok another Wednesday slipped by and I'm late again on Thursday. I would love to report it was due to me frantically painting some awesome model but, alas it was not.

WIP Wednesday: Scouts for Saturday.

Hobby explosion in the last couple days. I need to get my 10 man scout squad painted up for the tournament Saturday. I also decided to change my list and add a 5 man terminator unit that was not based and had to paint shoulder pads yet.

 So what got done and whats left?

WIP Wednesday: CF scouts and Sisters Plans

This week was a tough one. I finally got my color scheme down for my Crimson Fists scouts. I also spent some time on planning the Sisters of Battle rebuild. With the new codex, I have to add some new units and other changes were needed.

This week I spent too many hours on army builder. I need to come up with a final list for the RTT in Omaha next month. I have a theme I like and I just need to tweak it a little.

Man where does time go. This week flew by and I feel I did alot but not much to show. Highlights included watching a couple matches this weekend on Skype of the Nova Open, some hobby work on my Storm Raven, and played a game. Continue on for the break down to the nitty gritty....

It will be a quick one this week. I did not get a ton of hobbying done, but did get some. I'm still in the HoP Idol contest, so that took a little time. I did some assembly on my orks and stormraven. I found some bargains on eBay too.
